Aren Hansen Editor

Aren Hansen is a Toronto based film and television editor. He grew up in Vancouver in the 80s, spending his time making music and absurd VHS films with his friends. He moved to Toronto in 2006 to attend the Canadian Film Centre's Editors' Lab and went on to edit a number of feature films including Stella Meghie's JEAN OF THE JONESES (TIFF, SXSW) and MODRA (TIFF, SXSW). This past year, Aren edited the CSA winning, Emmy Nominated series THE AMAZING GAYLE PILE, two films based on the beloved MACDONALD HALL books by Gordan Korman,  the feature thriller ORDINARY DAYS and CBC's smash hit KIM'S CONVENIENCE, for which he received his second CSA nomination for Best Picture Editing.
