Aren Hansen is a film and television editor.
Over the past ten years, Aren's work has ranged from theatrical features (MODRA, selected one of 'Canada's Top 10') to glossy American television fun (SCARE TACTICS, hosted by 30 ROCK's Tracy Morgan), crazy sketch comedy (The Comedy Network's HOTBOX) and prime-time Canadian entertainment (CANADA'S GOT TALENT, CANADA SINGS). Aren was recently nominated for a 2013 Canadian Screen Award for BEST PICTURE EDITING (CANADA SINGS).
Aren is currently supervising editor on PANIC BUTTON, an insanely dark and terrifying show by 11 Television. Up next is Emmanuel Shirinian's debut feature film IT WAS YOU CHARLIE.
Along with editing, Aren loves to ride his bike, drink Americanos and chase his three-year-old around the house.
