Aren Hansen
Aren Hansen is a CSA-winning DGC picture editor, with over 20 years of experience and more than 100 credits to his name. A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, his work spans genres—from sci-fi to comedy—with recent highlights including Orphan Black: Echoes (AMC), Ginny & Georgia (Netflix), and Kids in the Hall (Amazon).
A lifelong musician, Aren keeps a keyboard within arm’s reach of his computer, blending his love of music with storytelling. Passionate about mentorship, he’s committed to supporting the next generation of editors and assistants. When he's not in the edit bay, you’ll likely find him shooting hoops with his kid or unwinding on the deck with a graphic novel.
